Alzheimer's Texas and Alzheimer's Association

Alzheimer's disease is a rapidly expanding problem with over 5 million people diagnosed in America. The Alzheimer’s Association and Alzheimer's Texas actively seek to advance research efforts for a cure. Pi Architects proudly supports these two organizations by promoting the advancement of research and by raising awareness for a cure.

Austin Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across the U.S. as well as in other countries.  In addition to annual donation contributions, this year, Pi Architects has the opportunity to help build affordable homes for families in need.  We had a blast doing it too!

Central Texas Food Bank

This organization provides families in need with food and their knowledge on low-cost, healthy eating.  Our team enjoyed sorting and inspecting food items at their warehouse preparing donations for distribution, and holding a food drive at our office.

Dell Children’s Medical Center

The emergency room at Dell Children’s Medical Center can be a hectic place for children and families.  To help keep them entertained and reduce anxiety for both children and tired parents, our team put together Busy Bags that provides them with activities to keep hands and minds occupied during their stay at Dell Children’s Medical Center.

Healing with Horses Ranch

Our team returned to the ranch this year and continued our efforts in maintaining their facilities by clearing riding trails.  The mission of this organization is to help individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, veterans, and those in trauma recovery through Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy.  It is always a pleasure working with them!

Helping Hands Christmas Tree Decorating

Pi and one of the flooring reps we work with, J+J Flooring, to participate in a fun Christmas Tree decorating event benefiting Dell Children’s Hospital.  Our firm split up into teams and came up with creative ways to decorate Christmas trees to help brighten up children’s room in the hospital during the holiday season.

Salvation Army Angel Tree

Every holiday season, the Salvation Army Austin Area provides Christmas assistance to more than 8,000 children through their Angel Tree Program.  Our team, along with other volunteers in the community have the opportunity to distribute the gifts to the Angel Tree clients.

Texas A&M University

Pi Architects is proud to partner with the Health and Science Center at Texas A&M. Through Pi's partnership program, our goal is to work with students to lead and learn from cutting-edge evidence-based design research. Pi Architects helps student’s future careers thrive by providing access to scholarships and summer internships.

Westminster Encouragement Notes

We all need a little encouragement in our lives!  At our office, we were able to put our creative hats on by writing and creating encouragement notes, drawings, and cards for the residents at The Arbour Health Care on Westminster’s campus, continuing our long-term relationship with their residents and team.

Our team was invited to attend Texas Tech’s Architecture Studio final review.  We had the opportunity to review third and fourth year student’s project on stroke survivors' rehabilitation center.

Pi Architects is proud to sponsor the Western Oaks Swim Team in Austin, Texas.  Youth swimmers of all ages come together each summer to compete, build friendships, and gain confidence in the water. Most important, they learn important life skills such as teamwork and good sportsmanship.
